More than a lecture, field visit or visualised learning give more information and the topic will remain forever. Taking kids and going to all field won't be possible. online we can take them.

    B*safety and security of students
C*management of mass no of students...
According to my opinion we should conduct a PTA meeting before scheduling field visit and try to provide the advantages of such visit..
For safety and security,we should take help of local police station and also NCC teacher etc.
For proper management we should take the help of class teacher of different sections as well as pet teacher and aslo the subject teacher's too..

  12. Field visit is the best approach in learning process. If we see at the cone of experience, we can understand that the perception/learning is at its best when we do it / involve in process. AThrough field visit, a learner comes out of bookish brainstorming to real life situation of direct experience.

If a guide is not there with the students, the field visit may become counter productive. Hyper active students may venture into undesired actions and may create problems.

  13. Though field visit will give a first hand/live experience to the students there are certain problems that we may face like budget restraints, controlling student behavior, organizing an engaging lesson, dealing with problem students. If we have a well planned schedule we can minimise some of the problems.

  15. It can be assigned as a project work, by providing one teacher for monitoring and control purpose. The students can be divided by their interest, it can be their choice for the field trip, in-house project or even virtual tour. If students are given free hand and little of encouragement, they shall do surely come up with excellent results. Thank you.

  17. When I had visited a factory where soap and detergents are made, a few people with a disgruntled attitude were also seen. It was quite obvious that they weren't happy with what they were doing. Lack of job satisfaction was noticed. This triggered a thought that if they were counseled enough or guided at the right time, it would have been helpful to take up the jobs of their interest. In fact Vocational Education and Training plays a major role here. Hence, VET in schools would meet this requirement.

  18. Less participation of the students due to repeated venues.
Students when rarely exposed to such experiences, they forget the purpose/ objective of the tour and get deviated and take such tours as casual trips with no learning objective.
To gain their attention, the class can be divided prior into groups and each group can be asked to submit a report followed by 2min interaction by any member of the group ( Educator will choose the speaker from the group).

  23. Some of the problems we could face are as follows:
Trainer who is synced to student and their knowledge level.
We have individual differences and different learning styles the trainers have to cater to diverse need.
Vocational training will be a new area of knowledge so teacher accompanying students have to be at least have good awareness about the aspects of training.
Safety and security concerns for students.
Most of these can be covered and issues can be addressed through a wide variety of information dissemination methods or ICE.

  24. A field visit will enable the students with hands on learning of their preferred skills. But the students as well as their parents are reluctant for these types of trips.
Safety concern of the students is also one of the drawbacks.
Lack of skilled personnel who are ready to share their expertise with the students.
We need to motivate students and parents about the utility of such field trips.
There should be some grants allocated for this purpose only.
Industries should also come forward and sponsor these activities.
