ReplyDeletestay calm , analyse and act accordingly
ReplyDeleteI will provide all the facilities to students to enjoy the trip..and motivate them to learn from the field.I will avoid the conflicts among the students
ReplyDeleteThey will observe and learn the real life activities and also they will be aware of all the problems and challenges will face in real life. More than a lecture, field visit or visualised learning give more information and the topic will remain forever. Taking kids and going to all field won't be possible. online we can take them.
ReplyDeletethe problems usually encountered while organising a field trip are:
ReplyDelete1. reluctance of the students and parents
2. financial expenditure incurred.
3. safety and security of the touring students.
4. allocation of time for the field trip
5. consent of the visiting institution for attending the internship.
In such situation I shall adopt these possible measures:
1. convince the parents and students about the importance of the visit.
2. convince the parents and sponsoring school to allocate money for the trip.
3. I shall appeal the local police and NCC to assist in safety and security of the visiting cadets.
4. Appraising the concerned training institution about the school and the importance of the trip to the students and accord its permission to allow the students to visit the institute.
Budget restraints, lack of chaperons, difficulty controlling student behavior, organizing an engaging lesson and dealing with anxious children are potential challenges. Establishing rules, soliciting support and proper planning can alleviate many of the disadvantages of taking a field trip.
ReplyDelete1.No. of students might be more
ReplyDelete2.Can be a problem in conveyance
3.Budget restraints
1.Trip can be divided
2.More no. Of buses from Units
3.Can have communication with parents
Stay calm, analysis and act accordingly
ReplyDeleteWe can motivate them to do their best to get all the information.we shouldn't pressurise our students to complete it quickly. We should always encourage them to be in their best position....

DeleteThere maybe many students and parents who donot understand the need and so don't participate. Such students are unable to learn
ReplyDelete. Few others may not be keen. Budget restraints may be a problem with few
A*Some of the students as well parents hesitate for this.
ReplyDeleteB*safety and security of students
C*management of mass no of students...
According to my opinion we should conduct a PTA meeting before scheduling field visit and try to provide the advantages of such visit..
For safety and security,we should take help of local police station and also NCC teacher etc.
For proper management we should take the help of class teacher of different sections as well as pet teacher and aslo the subject teacher's too..
Field visit is the best approach in learning process. If we see at the cone of experience, we can understand that the perception/learning is at its best when we do it / involve in process. AThrough field visit, a learner comes out of bookish brainstorming to real life situation of direct experience.
ReplyDeleteIf a guide is not there with the students, the field visit may become counter productive. Hyper active students may venture into undesired actions and may create problems.
Though field visit will give a first hand/live experience to the students there are certain problems that we may face like budget restraints, controlling student behavior, organizing an engaging lesson, dealing with problem students. If we have a well planned schedule we can minimise some of the problems.
ReplyDeleteField trips provide visual and practical experience ,allow students to remember, learn and understand subjects for their lifetime. Field trips bring classroom lessons to life. Such trips provide students with the opportunity to visualise, experience and discuss information.

Stay cam, then only respond
ReplyDeleteIt can be assigned as a project work, by providing one teacher for monitoring and control purpose. The students can be divided by their interest, it can be their choice for the field trip, in-house project or even virtual tour. If students are given free hand and little of encouragement, they shall do surely come up with excellent results. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI had taken my students to Lichi Research institute and getting the permission from them was a tough task.I contracted few media persons and they helped me connect with the officials and after knowing the purpose they allowed us into their campus.
ReplyDeleteWhen I had visited a factory where soap and detergents are made, a few people with a disgruntled attitude were also seen. It was quite obvious that they weren't happy with what they were doing. Lack of job satisfaction was noticed. This triggered a thought that if they were counseled enough or guided at the right time, it would have been helpful to take up the jobs of their interest. In fact Vocational Education and Training plays a major role here. Hence, VET in schools would meet this requirement.
ReplyDeleteLess participation of the students due to repeated venues.
ReplyDeleteStudents when rarely exposed to such experiences, they forget the purpose/ objective of the tour and get deviated and take such tours as casual trips with no learning objective.
To gain their attention, the class can be divided prior into groups and each group can be asked to submit a report followed by 2min interaction by any member of the group ( Educator will choose the speaker from the group).

ReplyDeleteProblems
ReplyDelete1. Financial constraints
2. Lack of enthusiasm from students
3 . Difficulty in getting consent from parents
4. Skilled personnel to be ready to share their vocational knowledge
Solution
1. Persuade parents emphasising the role of vocational education in shaping skills among learners
2. Encouraging learners by giving real life example
3. Funding from school on sharing basis
4. Taking help of local self help groups
4.
Lack of collaboration and coordination with NGO's working in the field vocational education. For solving this issue, we need to have various MOU's empower effective collaboration with them.
ReplyDeleteSome of the problems we could face are as follows:
ReplyDeleteTrainer who is synced to student and their knowledge level.
We have individual differences and different learning styles the trainers have to cater to diverse need.
Vocational training will be a new area of knowledge so teacher accompanying students have to be at least have good awareness about the aspects of training.
Safety and security concerns for students.
Most of these can be covered and issues can be addressed through a wide variety of information dissemination methods or ICE.
A field visit will enable the students with hands on learning of their preferred skills. But the students as well as their parents are reluctant for these types of trips.
ReplyDeleteSafety concern of the students is also one of the drawbacks.
Lack of skilled personnel who are ready to share their expertise with the students.
We need to motivate students and parents about the utility of such field trips.
There should be some grants allocated for this purpose only.
Industries should also come forward and sponsor these activities.
